Beef tallow is the heart of Pure Intent's products. Our tallow comes from grass-fed, grass-finished Angus cattle raised on pastures in Illinois. There's no hormones, vaccines, or antibiotics, just pure tallow that's been wet-rendered and filtered to kosher-grade quality.

Beef tallow is packed with vitamins A, D, E, and K, plus antioxidants and essential fatty acids that actually nourish your skin instead of just sitting on top of it. It absorbs clean and locks in moisture.

Beeswax: the second most important ingredient at Pure Intent.

We use organic, unrefined beeswax because it seals in moisture and creates a breathable barrier that protects against dry air and environmental stress.

Beeswax is also crucial in holding your product together. Beeswax has a higher melting point than tallow. Without it, you'd find your product could arrive on your doorstep melted.

Technically, jojoba isn't even an oil. It's a wax ester. It mimics your natural sebum, meaning your skin recognizes it easily.

It is great for all skin types because it doesn't clog pores, absorbs fast, and helps regulate oil production.

This is what makes the moisturizer glide smoothly without feeling thick. Sweet almond oil is lightweight, rich in vitamin E, and gentle on skin. It softens, soothes, and helps everything blend together naturally.
 

We chose it because it doesn't overpower the tallow or beeswax. It's our moisturizer's unsung hero.

Raw, unfiltered honey is a natural humectant, which means it pulls moisture from the air into your skin. It adds a subtle glow and has natural antibacterial properties that keep your skin calm and clear.
 

It's not heated or processed. Just honey doing what honey's done for centuries.

We add a touch of natural vanilla oil for scent and for the calming effect it has on skin. It's subtle, and not overpowering. No synthetic fragrances or overly sweet, artificial scent.
 

It's a small but impactful part of our moisturizer.

For our lip balm, we swapped sweet almond oil for coconut oil because lips need something a little richer. Coconut oil is deeply moisturizing, absorbs quickly, and creates a protective layer that keeps your lips soft even in harsh weather.
 

It's also naturally antimicrobial, which is perfect for an area that's constantly exposed to the elements.

We add vitamin E (tocopherol) to our lip balm because it is a powerful antioxidant that protects, repairs, and keeps your lips from drying out or cracking.
 

It also helps extend the life of the balm naturally without needing synthetic preservatives.

We use a clean, natural flavor oil to give our lip balm a subtle taste without any synthetic additives or artificial sweeteners. It's plant-based and derived from real ingredients.
